Tower of Beer and Go-Cart racing in Gemany

I had a class up in Germany, so I got a chance to hang out with my buddy David. We went out to some bars with some of his buddies. At the first bar we had a pretty good smoked beer in a "Tower of Beer".

Finally we ended up in a bar at the top of one of the hotels

The next day we tried out some go cart racing. The carts went 35 miles an hr, fast as hell. Of course since it was Europe, we didn't sign any release forms. The European theory is if you don't want to get hurt driving fast go-carts, DON'T DRIVE FAST GO-CARTS!

The track kept kept a scoreboard that showed what place you are in and your fastest lap. We ended early and were 4th and 6th when we stopped. Some of these guys had racing gloves and obviously had been there a few times before.

It was a great time. I recommend going if you are ever in the Ramstein area. Oh, and I almost forgot, there is a bar there so you can get have a few drinks while you are waiting for your heat...I'm not joking!

Here are some pictures I took on the Autobahn on my way back up to Frankfurt.

Dude...there is a bar in the Monte Carlo, Las Vegas, that brews thier own beer and they also have the beer towers...I wanted one when we stopped thier for my birthday, but I had to drive to SAC early that next morning...and NOT with a hangover...
