Street Meat

Outside of the front gate, there are vendors that cook up meat and put it in a roll. When people first get there, the inbriefing includes a recommendation not to eat it because there is no refrigeration on the carts. Basically there is a good chance that you'll get food poisoning (aka "The Turkish Tease"). My buddy Matt decided that he would decrease his risk by making his own. This is after he saw the guy smoking a cigarette, tying his shoes, and then using his bare hands to make the wrap.

Here I am making mine. I'm not scared off a little Turkish bacteria, so I made mine medium rare. Matt went for well done on his.

Here you can see the vendor reaching to help him roll it, which largely defeated Matt's quest to keep the vendor's hands off of his food.

It's a success!

Looks like Matt can add "street meat vendor" to his list of options if the Air Force doesn't work out.
